Up until now, the only way to tell whether your tailwind alerts were firing — and what the wind was actually doing when they did — was to go hunt them down in your inbox. Today we're adding a Recent alerts panel right below the settings form on /alerts.
What you'll see
- The last five emails we sent you, newest first.
- The exact subject line from the email — e.g. “Tailwind alert: 2 watchlist segments at +17 km/h or stronger” — so it matches what landed in your inbox.
- One entry per email, not per segment. Digest emails that bundle several segments now appear as a single row with the best tailwind on the badge and the segment names listed underneath.
- Relative timestamps (48m ago, 1d ago, …) and a tap target that jumps you straight to the segment when only one was included.
Why it matters
The most common “why didn't my alert fire?” turns out to be “it did, you just missed it.” Having the last few sends visible on the same page as the threshold slider makes it obvious whether your settings are dialled in — and gives you a quick jump-off point back to the map.
Alerts sent before this release will appear too, but with a generic fallback label instead of the exact subject (we only started recording the subject from today).
