Cookie Policy

This page explains how Tailwind KOMpass uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless, which is why you will not see a cookie consent banner on this site. The storage we do use is limited to what is strictly necessary for the app to function, as described below.

These are required for the site to function and cannot be turned off. They do not store personally identifiable information.

• Supabase auth session: keeps you signed in (anonymous or via Strava).
• App preferences: map style, units (metric/imperial), segment filters, rider FTP/weight. Stored in localStorage.

• DataFast: aggregate, privacy-friendly usage statistics. DataFast is cookieless: it sets no cookies and stores no identifiers on your device, so no consent banner is required. You can still block it with a content blocker if you prefer.

The Service connects to third-party providers that may set their own cookies on their own domains:

• Strava: OAuth sign-in (cookie policy).
• Polar.sh: checkout and billing portal.
• MapTiler: map tiles and weather data.
• Supabase: backend infrastructure.
• Google Fonts: the site’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s font servers, which receive your IP address with the request.

You can clear the app’s stored preferences at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this domain, and you can block analytics requests with a browser content blocker. Neither affects your ability to use the site.
